Job Overview:

Nishant Growth Foundation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department across all districts in India. The HR Assistant will play a key role in managing HR-related tasks, including recruitment, payroll processing, employee record maintenance, and coordination of training sessions. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with a solid understanding of HR functions and best practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

HR Support: Provide support for all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests, serving as a point of contact for employees and managers.

Record Maintenance: Maintain digital and electronic records of employees, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Recruitment Assistance: Assist in the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks, issuing employment contracts, and managing job postings.

Payroll Processing: Process payroll and resolve any payroll-related issues or errors, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employees.

Benefit Administration: Serve as the point of contact for benefit vendors and administrators, assisting with the administration of compensation and benefit documentation.

Performance Management: Assist with performance management procedures, including scheduling evaluations and tracking employee performance.

Scheduling: Maintain calendars for the HR management team, schedule meetings, interviews, and HR events, and coordinate training sessions and seminars.

Orientation and Onboarding: Perform orientations for new staff, ensuring they are well-integrated into the organization, and update employee records accordingly.

HR Reporting: Produce and submit reports on general HR activities, keeping management informed of key HR metrics.

Termination Processes: Complete termination paperwork, conduct exit interviews, and ensure all HR processes are followed during employee departures.

HR Compliance: Stay up-to-date with the latest HR trends, labor laws, and best practices to ensure compliance and effective HR management.

Salary:

Fresher: Starting from INR 25,000 per month.

Experienced Candidates: Up to INR 40,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (essential)

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar role (essential)

Fresher’s with strong academic backgrounds and relevant internships may also be considered.

Skills:

Solid understanding of HR functions, labor law and employment equity regulations.

Proficiency in payroll practices and HR software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational, time management and decision-making skills.

High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and email management.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in following instructions.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in an online examination. The exam will assess relevant HR knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and administrative skills.
