Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and insightful Training Officer to support the educational and developmental needs of our staff. The ideal candidate will conduct needs assessments, identify skills gaps, and create tailored training programs to address these needs. You will also ensure that training interventions are effective by monitoring performance and providing ongoing support.
Responsibilities:
Liaise with existing staff to clarify job roles, responsibilities and expectations.
Study and contribute to the overall operations and work environment of the organization.
Draft and prepare instructional manuals, onboarding materials and other relevant documentation.
Conduct regular, detailed needs assessments to identify skills deficits within the team.
Orient new hires to their roles and integrate them into the organization’s culture and norms.
Address identified skills gaps through customized in-house training programs.
Coordinate and facilitate external training opportunities as needed.
Monitor staff performance by working closely with line managers and department heads.
Serve as a supportive resource for employees, aiming to improve their orientation and development experience.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, except where legally required to disclose.
Salary:
For Fresher’s: 30,000 - 35,000 per month.
For Experienced Professionals: 40,000 - 55,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
Qualification in Instruction and/or Learning Design is advantageous.
Demonstrable experience as a training officer or in a similar role.
Proven track record of enhancing organizational performance through effective training.
Knowledge of performance tracking software and related metrics.
Thorough understanding of current HR and business practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to conduct comprehensive needs assessments and design effective training solutions.
Strong skills in research, presentation, and reporting.
Energetic, determined, and capable of engaging staff with diverse needs.
