Job Overview:

The IT Support Assistant will be responsible for providing digital literacy and computer-related assistance to rural youth. This role focuses on helping young people gain basic computer skills, troubleshooting common issues, and ensuring the effective use of technology in rural communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist rural youth with basic computer literacy, including hardware and software use.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for issues related to computer systems, networks, and software.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
  • Train youth on using common productivity tools like word processors, spread sheets, and internet-based services.
  • Support the implementation of online training and digital education programs.
  • Ensure data security and manage backup solutions for training centres.
  • Collaborate with local coordinators to identify IT needs in rural areas.

Salary:

  • For Fresher’s: 15,000 - 20,000 per month (depending on location and experience level).
  • For Experienced Candidates: 20,000 - 25,000 per month (depending on the level of experience and location).

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: 10th or 12th Pass.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 35 years.
  • Skills Required:
    • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
    • Strong problem-solving skills for technical issues.
    • Good communication skills to train and guide others.
    • Familiarity with common productivity tools like MS Office.
    • Ability to work in rural areas with minimal supervision.

Job Selection Process:

  • Online Exam: Applicants will be required to take an online examination to assess their basic computer knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
  • Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview, either in person or via video conferencing.
