Job Description:

As a Business Development Officer (BDO) at Nishant Growth Foundation, you will be responsible for driving the expansion and growth of entrepreneurship and start-up initiatives in rural and urban areas. You will work closely with local communities, educational institutions, and government agencies to promote skill development programs, encourage self-employment, and assist in the implementation of various projects designed to enhance economic opportunities for unemployed youth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Development: Develop business plans and strategies to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment among 10th and 12th pass unemployed youth in rural and semi-urban areas.
  • Training & Mentorship: Organize training programs and workshops on business development, financial literacy, and start-up incubation.
  • Community Engagement: Collaborate with local stakeholders, including schools, NGOs, and government agencies, to identify potential candidates and partners.
  • Project Management: Oversee the implementation of entrepreneurial projects and monitor the progress of start-up’s initiated under the foundation's guidance.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify market trends, business opportunities, and potential challenges faced by aspiring entrepreneurs.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports on project progress, training outcomes, and success stories, and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Online Exam Coordination: Help organize and coordinate the online exam process for candidates applying to the Business Development Officer role.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Fresher: No prior experience required, though internships or volunteering in a related field will be considered an advantage.
    • Experienced candidates: 1-2 years of experience in business development, project management, or community outreach is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and within teams.
    • Good understanding of business operations, financial management, and local market conditions.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Leadership skills and ability to mentor aspiring entrepreneurs.

Salary:

  • Fresher: 18,000 - 25,000 per month.
  • Experienced Candidates: 25,000 - 35,000 per month (based on experience and performance).

Job Selection Process:

  1. Online Exam: Candidates will need to pass an online exam to be eligible for this position. The exam will assess analytical thinking, problem-solving, and understanding of business fundamentals.
  2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the online exam will be invited for an interview to assess their suitability for the role.
