Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Recruitment

  • Recruit and manage staff members, field officers, team members, and block coordinators across tehsils/blocks.
  • Foster teamwork and build a motivated, goal-oriented workforce.

Project Implementation

  • Develop, execute, and monitor agricultural and allied projects in collaboration with local farmers, stakeholders, and institutions.
  • Ensure timely completion of all project deliverables while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Promote sustainable agricultural practices, including organic farming, water conservation, and modern irrigation methods.

Technology and Innovation

  • Leverage digital platforms and tools to track project progress, manage teams, and share updates with stakeholders.
  • Utilize AI-driven tools and mobile applications to educate farmers on crop management, pest control, and efficient farming practices.
  • Conduct webinars, virtual training sessions, and online workshops for knowledge dissemination.

Market Development and Partnerships

  • Establish relationships with agricultural supply chains, including wholesalers, retailers, and distributors.
  • Facilitate direct-to-consumer (D2C) initiatives for farmers to sell their produce via online marketplaces.
  • Partner with government agencies and NGOs to implement impactful community projects.

Data-Driven Decision-Making

  • Collect and analyse agricultural and market data to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Monitor crop performance, evaluate risks, and provide recommendations to optimize yield and profit.

Training and Capacity Building

  • Train farmers and staff on modern agricultural techniques, resource optimization, and technological tools.
  • Encourage knowledge-sharing sessions among team members to promote innovation and efficiency.

Sustainability and Growth

  • Identify opportunities for expansion, including new crop trials and advanced agricultural methods.
  • Promote climate-resilient farming by encouraging adaptive measures such as crop rotation and mixed farming.
  • Facilitate financial literacy programs for farmers, focusing on loans, subsidies, and investment opportunities.

Reporting and Communication

  • Maintain regular communication with senior management, providing updates on project progress and challenges.
  • Prepare detailed monthly reports on project outcomes, team performance, and financial impact.

 

 

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital tools such as MS Office, Google Workspace, and project management platforms (e.g., Trello, Asana).
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce for agricultural products.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English and regional languages.
  • Problem-solving mind-set with a focus on innovation and adaptability.
  • Passion for sustainable agriculture and rural development.

Minimum Qualification:

  • SSC / HSC
  • Undergraduate: B.Sc. (Agriculture or related fields)
  • Postgraduate: M.Sc. (Agriculture), MBA in Agribusiness, or Agricultural Engineering

Experience: 0–1 year (Experience in agriculture or project management preferred)
Salary: 35,000 per month
