Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mentor to support the successful transition of new participants into our programs. The Mentor will help orient new incumbents, encourage their active participation, and address any challenges they face during their adjustment period. The ideal candidate will be adept at facilitating smooth transitions and fostering a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Host introductory events to meet and engage with new mentees.
Orient mentees by providing detailed information about the institute’s procedures, norms, and initiatives.
Identify potential adjustment-related challenges and provide appropriate resources to assist in overcoming these obstacles.
Schedule and conduct follow-up meetings to monitor mentees’ progress and address any emerging issues.
Promote participation in mentor-mentee bonding activities to enhance social integration.
Offer support during periods of psychosocial or medical difficulty.
Attend mentorship meetings to discuss progress, concerns, and upcoming events.
Report significant concerns and issues to the Head of Mentorship for further review and action.
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience as a mentor or in a similar supportive role.
Familiarity with effective mentorship practices and principles.
In-depth knowledge of the institute’s core values and operational structures.
Excellent orientation and organizational skills.
Commitment to fulfilling all personal and professional responsibilities.
Ability to recognize and address psychosocial, medical, and related challenges.
Strong tracking, intervention, and problem-solving skills.
Friendly, approachable, and highly capable demeanor.
Salary:
For Fresher’s: 25,000 - 30,000 per month.
For Experienced Professionals: 35,000 - 50,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
