Job Overview:
As a District Environmental Officer under the Agriculture and farm projects, you will play a crucial role in promoting environmental sustainability through tree plantation and other eco-friendly activities. You will be responsible for overseeing environmental projects at the block or district level, providing technical assistance, and ensuring the successful implementation of various environmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise tree plantation drives and other environmental activities within your designated block or district.
• Provide technical support and guidance to local teams on best practices for environmental conservation.
• Monitor the progress of environmental projects and ensure adherence to environmental standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and community members to promote environmental awareness and participation.
• Prepare and submit reports on the status and impact of environmental activities in your area.
• Conduct environmental assessments and recommend improvements for sustainable practices.
• Organize workshops and training sessions to educate the community on environmental issues and conservation techniques.

Salary:

• Fresher’s: 25,000 - 35,000 per month, depending on qualifications and location.
• Experienced Candidates: 35,000 - 50,000 per month, depending on experience and location.

• A degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, Forestry, or a related field is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with experience in environmental conservation, project management, or related fields will be given preference.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel within the block or district.

Selection Process:
The selection will be based on an online examination, which will test your knowledge of environmental science, project management, and relevant regulations. Successful candidates will be shortlisted for interviews.
