Job Description:

The District Agriculture Officer will be responsible for implementing agricultural programs and supporting sustainable farming practices in their assigned district under the Harit Sampada Yojana. The role involves working closely with local farmers, providing agricultural consultation, and promoting eco-friendly farming techniques. The officer will oversee the implementation of agricultural projects, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and contribute to the overall growth of the agricultural sector in their district.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the Harit Sampada Yojana's agricultural programs at the district level.
• Provide guidance to farmers on modern and sustainable agricultural practices.
• Collaborate with local authorities, agricultural institutions, and NGOs to promote farming initiatives.
• Conduct agricultural surveys, analyze crop performance, and report findings.
• Organize workshops and training sessions for farmers.
• Promote environmentally sustainable farming techniques in line with government policies.
• Monitor and evaluate ongoing projects and ensure their successful completion.
• Address the concerns and needs of farmers and agricultural communities.

• A degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related fields (B.Sc Agriculture or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, policies, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle district-wide responsibilities.

Experience:

• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Experienced candidates in agriculture or related fields will be given preference.

Salary:

• Fresher’s: INR 25,000 to INR 35,000 per month.
• Experienced: Based on experience, ranging from INR 35,000 to INR 50,000 per month.

Selection Process:

• The selection will be conducted via an online exam.
• Successful candidates will undergo a personal interview and training before assuming duties.
