Job Description:

The Block Environmental Officer is responsible for the technical evaluation and reporting of environmental projects, including tree plantation and related activities under the Harit Sampada Yojna. This role requires monitoring the implementation of environmental schemes at the block level, ensuring compliance with project guidelines, and preparing detailed reports on the progress and effectiveness of the schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct technical assessments of tree plantation and other environmental activities.
• Monitor the environmental projects and ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.
• Evaluate the impact of environmental schemes and prepare detailed reports.
• Collaborate with village coordinators, block managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
• Provide regular updates and feedback to higher authorities on project performance.

Salary:

• Fresher: 25,000 per month
• Experienced Candidates: 30,000 - 35,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience:
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• 1-3 years of experience in environmental projects or relevant fields will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and technical evaluation skills.
• Ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
