Job Description:

As a Block Agriculture Program Manager under the Harit Sampada Yojna, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of agriculture-related projects at the block level. You will work closely with other team members, including agriculture officers and coordinators, to manage and monitor on-going initiatives such as tree plantation, sustainable farming practices, and environmental conservation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement agriculture-related programs and initiatives within the assigned block.
• Coordinate with Block Agriculture Officers, Field Workers, and other team members to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Monitor the progress of farming activities, tree plantation drives, and other environmental efforts.
• Provide technical assistance to farmers and local communities to adopt sustainable agricultural practices.
• Prepare reports on the progress of the program, ensuring goals and timelines are met.
• Act as a liaison between the District Project Officer and the ground-level workers for effective communication and project execution.
• Participate in regular meetings and provide feedback to improve the efficiency of the program.
• Ensure the successful achievement of environmental goals and targets in the block.

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with prior experience in agriculture project management, rural development, or environmental programs will have an advantage.
• Skills: Strong leadership skills, ability to manage teams, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and familiarity with sustainable agriculture practices.

Salary:

• The salary for this position will be based on qualifications and experience.
• Fresher’s: 25,000 - 35,000 per month.
• Experienced Candidates: 35,000 - 45,000 per month, based on experience and performance.

Job Selection Process:

The selection process will be conducted through an online exam. The exam will assess candidates' knowledge in agriculture, environment-related subjects, and project management skills. Successful candidates will be shortlisted for interviews before final selection.
